Posada Del Mar Hotel (Isla Mujeres, Mexico)

The guests were happy that their rooms were clean and were taken care of by the housekeeping ladies. They found them to be nice and people who did their job well. Many guests recommend to request upgraded rooms.

The hotel’s location was found to be central and good since it was walking distance from Playa Norte beach and from the ferry terminal. There were also various restaurants and bars close by, so guests were able to enjoy the island.

Most guests did not like the old fashioned and worn décor of the hotel, especially if they were placed in the old part of the hotel. Guests did not enjoy the worn and old furnishings and would have liked to see new paint and bed sheets at least.

The Wi-Fi was not available in the rooms at all but only in certain common areas of the hotel. Guests found this a bit cumbersome, as it would be better to have in-room Wi-Fi.

The guests had booked rooms with certain amenities and were instead given rooms with no amenities and in the old section of the hotel. The hotel staff would not budge in finding them the room that was paid for unless they paid more. Guests did not find this fair.
