With the animated Malecon boardwalk just two blocks away and the old town just ten minutes walk away, guests love the location of the hotel. You can also get to the beach within five or ten minutes.

Following a recent modernization, guests appreciate the new and shiny feel to the place. The hotel is a good size with nice facilities and is immaculately clean. Add to that some extremely comfortable beds and great value and you get some pretty happy guests.

The majority of guests seem to have a very positive opinion of the staff, who are very helpful and polite on the whole.

The large windows may be great for letting in light, but do little to protect from the noise. The sound of the streets and the air-conditioning units outside some rooms disturb guests to varying degrees.

Many guests are disillusioned when they don't get the room they thought they had booked. Well not initially at least. Due to overbooking, you may find yourself not only in a different room but even in a completely different hotel! Some guests are even forced to change rooms two or three times before getting the right one! A lot of them who have booked a room with a king-size bed are left disappointed that they have just a regular size bed.

You may feel a bit deceived when you feat your eyes on the so-called swimming pool. You may well have been expecting nothing more than a mini-pool, but no doubt not just an oversized Jacuzzi! A lot of guests think the whole pool area is nothing but an after-thought and is not worth bothering with.
