There are locations and then there are LOCATIONS! This hotel is fabulous for tourists. You can't beat it. From zoos to the Academy of Science from Alcatraz Island to Chinatown. There is an attraction for every taste.
The hostel has a bit of novelty as well. Even though the cage lift seems a bit out of place for a modern facility, it's not a distraction. You will probably want to take a photo of it by the end of your stay.
The staff are extremely helpful. It's as if they are in the wrong facility. Hotel service for hostel accommodations is not half bad. In addition, the facility is well equipped with everything you need for your stay.
You might find the mattress rather uncomfortable due to sagging in the middle. The Wi-Fi is slow and though the hotel appears clean at first sight, after a bit of inspection you may find housekeeping is somewhat lacking. Oh, and forget about any view there are only walls and more walls.
