Most former guests have commended the service provided by the hotel's staff members. In general, the service was thought of as welcoming and kind.

While not the most ideal for central attractions in Melbourne, the accommodation's location was generally convenient for the needs of past visitors. This was especially true for those going to Melbourne Airport, which can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car from the property.

Although the lack of food options was disappointing at times, the on-site bar has received praise from those that enjoyed the facility. In particular, the recreational facilities in the bar such as the pool tables and casino-related amenities were popular.

The rooms at the accommodation have received notable criticism on a somewhat regular basis by former visitors. As well as being regarded as small and basic to an extent, the condition of the rooms - with reports of noisy air conditioning units and worn carpets as just two examples - was often lambasted.

Bothersome noise has proven to hurt the comfort levels of staying at the hotel for a sizeable amount of past guests. This issue with noise has mainly stemmed from apparent late night revellers from either the on-site bar or nearby establishments.

Although acceptable for some, the hygiene levels were condemned by numerous previous visitors that stayed at the accommodation. Unclean surfaces, dirty shower floors and stained bedding are the types of problems that have been mentioned on multiple occasions.
