There is a swimming pool on-site which is the perfect place to take a dip, burn a few calories or relax. The hotel is currently embarking on a large scale refurbishment and the swimming pool will also be getting a facelift. The whirlpool is a great place to chill out or spend time with friends. For the more competitive guests the pool table is situated in one of the hotel’s public areas. The hotel offers large meeting rooms that are popular for special occasions and other events.

The guestrooms are spacious and are spread out over two different wings. They are kept clean and to a good standard and previous guests have had a comfortable stay. Guests feel they have experienced good hospitality when staying here as the staff are excellent.

The breakfast here is excellent with plenty of hot choices to set you up for the day. The staff keep the different items replenished and the quality of food is very good.

Past reviews have stated that the property is looking tired throughout and is in dire need of a facelift. The hotel has confirmed that this is something they have just embarked on with public areas being tackled first then they will move onto guestrooms.

The Wi-Fi here can be hit and miss and it also depends whereabouts you are located within the hotel. At times it seems alright but then it becomes so slow it just repeatedly disconnects and therefore it almost impossible to use.

The air-conditioning could also be improved here as some rooms have reported that the air-conditioning didn’t seem to be working properly.
