Margaritaville Island Hotel (Pigeon Forge, USA)

This was undoubtedly what most impressed guests about Margaritaville Island. Guests reported that it was so central that they could easily walk to the majority of attractions they had come to see in Pigeon Forge.

Interestingly, a large number of guests went out of their way to say how wonderful the showers were. They were rainfall showers, but somehow the showerhead created a stream of water that guests found to be both unusual and very pleasant.

The hotel is part of The Island development, which includes a number of shops, restaurants and attractions. Guests describe it like staying in a charming and fun mall with a difference.

Many guests found the room rates to be a bit expensive, certainly a lot more than they were used to paying in the area. They felt that that perhaps they would have been happier at another property with fewer amenities but a lower room rate.

Guests mentioned that the parking lot is some distance from the hotel. While valet parking is available, this of course comes at a cost. Guests did seem to get a bit tired walking to and from their cars.

Because of the design of the hotel, some rooms are very far from the reception. Guests did get a bit tired having to walk so far to get to their room once they had arrived back at the hotel, perhaps after and already exhausting trip.
