The hotel is in a prime location. It's amazing the easy access you have to all the best attractions. Never mind all the restaurants and pubs. It's great!

The Wi-Fi works quite well in the hotel room. This is a rarity as hotels are known for having spotty Wi-Fi.

The full English breakfast is decent and there's plenty to get your day started.

Though the hotel is in a prime location, if the summer is blistering hot you might find yourself sweating like crazy as the hotel has no air conditioning. What's more, a fan blowing hot air does not fully do the job.

The shared bathroom arrangement is a bit awkward. The bathroom is in the hallway with the toilet and shower in a different room. It feels more like a dorm or hostel.

First of all there is no lift; therefore, if you've been booked on the third floor and have heavy suitcases, prepare for a long haul up the stairs. The hotel is stingy with bed pillows and only one is provided. You might get annoyed during breakfast too, as people are chatting away loudly on their mobile phones. There's no request to turn off phones during this time. However, this may not be an issue with some people. The shower has inadequate pressure and the shared shower could do with a good cleaning. The beds are on a platform type contraption so basically all you have is a mattress that offers little support. It's like sleeping on a plank!
