The air con here copes well with the heat, making rooms relaxing and enabling guests to enjoy relaxation + a peaceful night’s sleep.

The standard of food in the restaurant is surprisingly high and the cost surprisingly moderate, when compared with neighbouring restaurants. Why bother going out?!

Continental breakfast is OK but would benefit from a bit more thought and additional items to make it more appealing.

Some appear to have gone through a revamp and emerged the other side to be quite impressive. Others have yet to feel this benefit; decoration and furnishings are worn, tired and somewhat depressing.

Skimped cleaning.

There are giveaway signs that rooms haven’t been thoroughly cleaned. Instead, as they say ‘up North’ in the UK, they’ve had a lick and a promise. Some net curtains for instance are filthy. It costs nothing to wash and re hang them.
