There are many places of tourist attraction close to the hotel. From shopping malls and amusement parks to casinos and museums; guests had a great time exploring each one of the places. Canterbury Park, Paragon theaters and Burnsville Performing Arts Center are some of the famous tourist locales.

Many guests felt that area around the hotel was unsafe with questionable people hanging around. There was a cop arresting few people in the parking lot. The back door into the hotel from parking lot was not locked making it even more unsafe.
Guests found the Internet connection very slow due to which many of them who had come for official trips could not complete their work. Walls, though concrete, were very thin and did not allow adequate sound insulation. Guests could hear conversations of other guests and noise from the highway.
