Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel (Key West, USA)

The hotel is noted to be very clean and well-maintained. The rooms, restaurants, lobby, hallways and pool area are always immaculate. Many guests liked their room's spaciousness and overall layout. Elegant furnishings, luxurious linens and upscale in-room amenities also get high marks.

Most guests found the hotel staff to be competent, helpful and friendly. The front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and pool bar staff are excellent and go out of their way to provide fabulous, timely service.

The hotel’s "off-the-beaten-path", secluded beachfront location is popular with many guests. The immediate area is quiet but the many attractions of downtown Key West are easily accessible by car or the hotel’s complimentary shuttle. Plentiful water activities, dining options and pubs are within walking distance.

Guests who were able to get waterfront rooms raved about the magnificent views. However, guests in other areas of the hotel noted that their views were less than picturesque because they overlooked unimpressive scenery such as a busy highway, the courtyard or the corridor.

While most guests had pleasant holidays, some people remarked that the hotel is too expensive. Several guests were shocked at the food and beverage charges, while others were dismayed that breakfast was not included for the price of their accommodations.

Several guests found it hard to relax because of various noise issues. Some people commented that the fire alarm goes off frequently, while others found the noise from outdoor maintenance and nearby construction to be annoying.
