The hotel location is convenient. Downtown is walkable, a Super A Grocery Store is nearby, along with a Niche Clothing Company for women. There is also a souvenir shop.

The hotel restaurant has decent food. The menu is extensive and varied with casual and formal dishes. You can order a chicken sandwich, or burger with a Canadian beer. If you have the taste for a more sophisticated meal, you can check-out the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

You will have most of what you need to make you feel at home. A fridge, TV, Jacuzzi, nice sized bed, and plenty of cooking utensils are all supplied. Parking is great and if you're lucky, you may get a room with a balcony and marvellous views of the mountains.

The staff needs some customer training in friendliness and courtesy. Check-in doesn't run smooth, and the staff appear aloof and disinterested.

The facility has no air conditioning. If your bedroom is in the loft, you will literally boil. A fan is supplied but it doesn't help, as it only circulates hot air. If you are on the ground level, you can open the windows, but this is where the cars and larger vehicles park. Which means, you will get a double whammy of noise and headlights!

The place could do with an upgrade. It's expensive and the quality of furnishings is questionable. The décor is unimpressive, it's dark, the carpet appears worn, and the bathroom is small. Compared to other facilities in the area, you may decide that this hotel is much ado about nothing.
