Actually, the inn is in a pretty nice location. There's shopping, dining, and things to do. It is quite convenient and you don't have to spend a fortune on transportation.
The staff can be pleasant and the inn is quiet. You will get a good nights' sleep for sure. The hot tub is a plus and helps with relaxation. The accommodation fits the price, so don't expect anything exceptional, but it's reasonable.
If you have anyone with you who is physically challenged such as an elderly person, you'd better take care. The shower has no rail to hold on to and gong in and out the room could prove awkward.
The nonchalant reception is no help if you have a complaint. For example, the Wi-Fi is supposed to be free; however, it may never connect. Complaining to the reception does not help much as they've "heard it all before" and could care less. Towels for the pool are actually super tough exfoliators. They are really hard and never mind if you spot mold in the tub and on the carpet, you'll just have to get over it.
The place could certainly due with a bit of renovation. The décor seems at least a century old. The bad thing is that it's not that the inn has this type of décor because of a taste for nostalgia or because they are sophisticated, it's just tacky.
