The hotel location offers plenty. There are a number of outlets and additional stores in the vicinity. There is also an amusement park, American Music Theater, and a Railroad Museum.

You have to give it to the front desk staff, they do a good job. They are nice and accommodating and do their best to take care of any request within a reasonable time.

The grounds of the hotel are well taken care of. You can easily sit outside, relax, and enjoy the environment without a care in the world.

Unfortunately, the hotel needs some work done pronto! Carpets need a good cleaning, hot water is inadequate, hallway with leaking ceiling, cracked sink in bathtub, you may encounter all these things and more during your stay. The building basically needs a good makeover then it will be good to go.

There is no fridge or microwave in the room. This limits your options, especially when you have a little-one in tow. You can't keep bottles cold or heat them up. Additionally, there's no way to keep snacks fresh either. For a place that prides itself on being family friendly, an in-room microwave and fridge is crucial.

There is no complimentary breakfast, not even a small continental breakfast. If you want to eat your breakfast at the hotel, it's a bit expensive. You can eat out and order a breakfast for two at half the price the hotel charges for one. Then again, it all depends on your budget and how much you are willing to pay.
