Woodlands Game Lodge and Conference Centre is situated in the Bobbejaansberg Nature Reserve between the scenic Bobbejaans Mountains of Boekenhoutskloof in the Dinokeng area. This wonderful bushveld retreat is a 35-minute / 29 km drive North East of Pretoria and 50 minutes from O.R. Tambo Airport or Sandton. Set against a backdrop of pristine bushveld, large dam, plentiful wildlife, and the majestic Bobbejaansberg, you are provided with the ideal setting for any function, wedding or conference. Our Nature Reserve/Conservancy of over 930 hectares hosts a diversity of fauna and flora with breath-taking rock formations where more than 25 species of wild animals and 200+ bird species can be spotted. The unpolluted Boekenhout River runs through the property and has a variety of fish, including black bass. This Conservancy lies on the border of the Dinokeng Big 5 game reserve in Northern Gauteng. In the interest of conserving our planet and a more green approach to construction, Woodlands Game Lodge & Conference Centre was constructed from stones picked up from the property (not mined) and locally sourced thatch, creating a warm yet luxurious look and atmosphere. All rooms and facilities receive a four plus star rating on average. Our air conditioned / heated Conference room seats 140 people cinema style, 80 schoolroom style, and 50 in a U-shape. The restaurant can seat up to 150 people with a deck overlooking a water hole and the mountains. Traditional potjies or braai can be catered for in the boma under the African sky. We are well known for our high quality and tasty meals, normally to be served in our cozy restaurant with a large fireplace for cold winter evenings. Pre-dinner drinks could be enjoyed in our bar on the deck, overlooking a water hole where wild animals could be spotted late afternoon. Alternatively, we can set up the outside Boma area with a typical Africa theme. We have 8 rooms including one executive suite and one wheelchair friendly room. Teambuilding, Spa & Safari experiences can also be arranged on our lovely Reserve. All rooms and facilities received a Four Star grading.
