Breakfast is hearty and definitely worth a go. You get everything that comes with a full breakfast and it is included in the room price.

Fantastic location directly in the centre of town. The train station is within walking distance and there are plenty of local sights. If you have your four-legged friend with you, there are a couple of pubs not far away that allow you to bring your pooch while having a lager.

There’s no doubt that this hotel is family friendly. The staff is cordial and try to be helpful in any way they can. You have a feeling upon leaving that you are always welcome to come back.

The décor certainly won’t be to everyone’s liking. It’s a bit cramped and looks like something from decades ago. There’s nothing up-to-date about the furnishings or the ambiance of this place.

You may have an issue with the bathroom shower head that won’t stay put. The shower enclosure is quite small as well. If you need to contact hotel assistance, you have to go outdoors to use an intercom. Is this the 21st century or 1965? The carpet is threadbare, there is no central heating, and there’s dust everywhere.

It’s amazing that in this day and age there are still hotels and the like that do not provide Wi-Fi. This facility does not provide Wi-Fi anywhere and it’s a mystery how they expect visitors to function without it.
