Villa I Barronci offers a magnificent view on vineyards and olive groves. Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, the villa is named after the original owners, who lived here in the 13th century. Today it belongs to a family that has transformed it into a welcoming and functional B & B, with all the characteristics of Tuscan country houses, yellow walls, green shutters, jars overflowing with flowers. Breakfast is prepared in the bright dining room with large windows overlooking the garden and includes fresh fruit and homemade cakes. Florence is about fifteen kilometres, in the direction of Siena (40 km) there are the mediaeval villages of San Gimignano, Volterra and Monteriggioni. In the direction of Pisa (1hr by car) is Vinci, the birthplace of the famous genius, and continuing another 10 km you arrive in Lucca. In the opposite direction instead, you reach all the richness of the Chianti area: Greve (15 km) Montefioralle, Panzano, Radda, Gaiole and Castellina. The area is also known to fans shopping for the many outlets.
