Upon entering the hotel many said they were impressed with the stylish lobby which they described as spotless and tastefully decorated. Many also enjoyed spending time at the pool which was also said to be very clean and surrounded by comfortable loungers and elegant cabanas. In the evenings the well-appointed lounge and billiards room proved extremely popular with the guests.
Guests were pleased to report that the rooms were of ample size which meant that they could move around comfortably and easily stow away all their belongings. Many complimented the tasteful decor of the en-suites which included quality pieces of furniture, artwork and high-spec fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms.
Many were complimentary with regards to the service they received during their stay describing the staff as being professional and customer-orientated. Guests said that they felt very well looked after during their stay and expressed their gratitude to all of the members of staff who often went the extra mile in order to assist them with their various queries and requests.
Guests who wanted to get to downtown Austin said they found it inconvenient having to drive there as the centre of town is not within walking distance. Some also objected to the fact that the nearest restaurants are also a quite a long walk away.
Quite a few guests mentioned that they found the parking situation quite inconvenient as the only option available is valet which is available for a fee.
The pool was said to be rather small which meant that during peak season it got rather overcrowded. The bar and restaurant were said to be equally small which meant that they were often very busy.
