The resort is surrounded by greenery which includes the four golf-courses thus providing a very peaceful and scenic backdrop. There are some wonderful views of the Texas hills which were thoroughly appreciated by the guests who would sit out on the deck and admire the picturesque surroundings. .
The capital of Texas is only a 10-minute drive from the hotel which many of the guests found very convenient. Being so close to all the amenities yet tucked away from the all the hustle and bustle of the big city was thoroughly appreciated by all who stayed here.
Some guests objected to the poor cleanliness of the hotel including the corridor and also some of the facilities including the gym and the pool. The carpets in the communal areas were said to be rather dirty and were obviously not hovered on a regular basis whilst the pool was said to be rather grubby looking with cloudy water. .
Some rooms at the resort look out onto the rather unsightly refuse area at the back of the hotel much to the disappointment of the guests who stayed in them. If you are keen on having a nice view it's advisable to let the staff know before you book. .
Those whose rooms were located above the banqueting suite objected to the loud music and noise which often lasted until the early hours. .
