Hotel Vacation Lodge (Pigeon Forge, USA)

There is a coffee pot, refrigerator, and complimentary shampoo and soap in small packets. Towels are replaced and the rooms are basically up to standard.

It's nice sitting out on the balcony and watching the world go by. The balconies are a nice size and clean as well. You get a great view of the fireworks from Dollywood.

You can certainly get around and find plenty to do. The main strip is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The traffic flow can be heavy but it's not a barrier. There's a trolly that takes you to Splash Country and Dollywood.

The staff appears to be cold and not too friendly. Requests are ignored and the feeling is not very welcoming.

Breakfast is served on paper plates with plastic fork, knife, spoons, etc. It's very cheapish and tacky on top of the poor breakfast. The quality is questionable and there are no staples like toast. The hot breakfast is either eggs or sausage on varying days and it's heavy on the carbs. There are Krispy Kreme donuts and biscuits with gravy.

There are a number of things that can get on your nerves about the motel like bugs, stains on the bed, holes in the wall, unclean facilities, bad TV reception, and more. If you stay at this motel just beware. If you have no other choice, perhaps you can simply ask for another room if you find it unsatisfactory.
