Hotel Tropi Rock Resort (Fort Lauderdale, USA)

This hotel is really well located for the beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to local entertainment options. It is accessible for any place in Fort Lauderdale or Miami.

The hotel has a high standard of housekeeping and a dedicated staff that works hard to maintain that level of cleanliness. The hotel is also appreciated for its great facilities. The hot showers and cold air-conditioning have greatly pleased those who have stayed here.

The staff here is very friendly and professional, ready to help in all matters, with a good customer service attitude. The service standard here is good and Steven, in particular is appreciated for the great service he has given the guests.

There was a sudden policy change one day regarding deposit and a guest was upset to find herself Checked-out one day without her knowledge and unable to Check-in again unless she was able to pay a higher room deposit. This wasn't a very customer friendly action and caused upset to the guest.

One guest was horrified to return from a day out and find his door wide open. It appeared that the doors had been left open when the housekeeping staff left the room after cleaning. Luckily, no items had been stolen, but the guest was upset by this experience.

The walls are rather thin and sounds can be heard from other rooms. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are very tired looking and in need of refurbishment.
