Hotel Town House Motel (San Francisco, USA)

This is actually a motel; however, the location can make you forget that you are not in a hotel because it's so convenient. It's close to everything you want to see in SF. There's parking as well in case you drove and many places are within walking distance. There is also a well placed bus stop not far from the motel.

The room is functional and the bed is comfortable enough and you will probably have sweet dreams. You basically have everything you need right in your room. It's nothing fancy, but if you want to live reasonably in an expensive city, this is the place.

The complimentary breakfast is not bad. It's simple; however, there is so much around in the area you basically view the breakfast as a teaser. There is coffee, tea, juice, fruit, danish. Just something simple for a starter. For a real breakfast, you will have to go outside the hotel.

Sure, the rooms are functional but far from perfect. The bathroom is small and the linens are a very poor quality. In the shower area, you may find mold on the ceiling. Air conditioning is non-existent and opening the window causes a problem as the street is so noisy. It's fine for a place to lay your head while you explore the area, but that's about it.

You can hear noise from the other rooms. If there are people above you, the noise from their footsteps will get on your nerves. The soundproofing of the motel is not good. There is constant noise, so it's something you will have to accept when staying at the facility.

Spotty Wi-FiDuring the week the Wi-Fi is okay; however, over the weekend, the service become erratic. Overall, the Wi-Fi is not really reliable.
