York House Inn is Georgia’s oldest bed and breakfast. As one of the states iconic destinations, we are proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but we are not an inn that time forgot. Multi millennials and millennials alike have wandered to our North Georgia mountain inn for thirteen wonderful decades. Nestled at the foot of the Appalachian mountains guests experience our agrihood, adventure, romance, relaxation and unsurpassed hospitality. Come enjoy our fine selection of room accommodations with period antiques and private baths recalling the “resort era.” Our original home dates from the 1840’s. The Inn began operating in 1896, and expanded in 1907. The Inn is the oldest continuous business in Rabun County, with a style never distorted but frequently improved upon. We offer easy access to a wide range of activities and sights around Clayton and Dillard Georgia, and are a skip up to Sky Valley and Highlands,N.C. Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge (The Grand Canyon of the East),the Chattooga River and lakes Rabun and Burton are just minutes away.
