Artistic studio apartment, private entrance, separate deck overlooking gardens and forest. Queen bed, sitting area, kitchenette as well as unique bathroom. Walk to the National Forest trails or meander down to the stream. Totally private from main house, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. You will always be comfortable with us as a whole home generator will prevent any of our frequent power outages being in the forest. It is equipped with a Queen bed, sitting area, private shower and bath and kitchenette which consists of a Keurig Coffee Maker, microwave, toaster, fridge. To reach your space there is a pebble walkway through garden paths down to the entrance. With both the pathway going down, a bathroom with four steps up to it and a shorter pocket bathroom door it would not be appropriate for a wheel chair, crutches or mobility challenged person. It is a very unique space with great artwork, interesting architecture, tongue and groove ceilings, an eclectic glass sink, antiques etc. We have varying ceiling heights, recessed reading lights on each side of the bed and satellite tv. Due to the height of the shower, a teak bench is available for our guests in excess of 6 foot for comfort. You have a private covered deck overlooking the gardens and forest. You are close to waterfalls, hiking trails, some with 1/2 mile. As we are in the mountains, the cell service can be great on Verizon or it can be spotty. Most other carriers have difficulty in Highlands. Nestle down has a whole home generator to ensure power at all times as we have frequent power outages due to falling trees. A very Quiet space in the mountains close to the charming town of highlands. At 4000 ft altitude summers are always cool in the 70s low 80s high. I have a/c upon request.
