The Whyte Harte is a four-star classic hotel and pub that dates back to 1388 and situated in Redhill, United Kingdom. It is two miles away from the Nutfield Railway Station. Most of the guests loved the cosy and personal atmosphere at the pub and the restaurant. The menu had a good variety to choose from and food was mouth-watering. Many guests loved their homemade pies. It was a great pie with lots of filling, top and bottom crust. Sandwiches were served with French fries or salad/soup.
As per some of the guests, the best part about this hotel was the staff. They went out of their way to lend a helping hand to the guests. With a smile on their face, the staff never failed to cheer up the guests. The serving staff in the restaurant and the pub were a top favorite amongst the guests. Not only did they serve quickly but also shared a joke or two with the guests
Guests who loved travelling with their dogs loved the hotel. They were allowed to keep their pets for minimal charges without too many rules and restrictions. This came as a pleasant surprise and relief for the pets and guests too.
The Wi-Fi connection was almost next to zero as the signal was very weak to even check the emails, which was a great disappointment.
Rooms were bit outdated and needed some refurbishment. Wall papers were peeling off and headboard was broken. Rooms had a bad smell as if the toilet had not been cleaned for days together. Tiles were dirty and there were moulds growing on them.
Few guests were of the opinion that the rooms should have been more brightly lit. Only one light and the lamp on the work desk were not sufficient to brighten up the room.
