The Retreat offers comfortable fully self contained accommodation for couples, family and groups, ranging from 1 bedroom studios & 2 Bedroom Bungalows to 3 & 6 bedroom group accommodation. There are two lovely communal outdoor barbecue areas, a pool and a games room. All bed and bath linen is supplied. BYO bath towels if staying in group accommodation. (BYO Beach Towel). Port Stephens offers pristine beaches, many land and water based tours and activities including dolphin and whale watch cruises, fishing charters, snorkelling/diving tours, parasailing, hire boats, kayak & SUP hire, 4WD Sandboarding tours, 2 golf courses, koala habitat boardwalks plus much much more. Guests loved the secluded feeling that they got here. It felt like it was truly a retreat and great for some rest and relaxation.Wildlife sightings weren't uncommon, and there was plenty for kids to amuse themselves.The facilities were also well taken car
Despite being in the middle of the bush, guests were still able to enjoy a comfortable stay. Kitchens were fully stocked, making it easy to prepare a meal, and beds and pillows were the cream of the crop. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure sealed
It was a big bonus to be able to walk to the sand dunes for a few hours of sand boarding. Guests also noted other things to do in the area, such as Toboggan Hill Park, an eight-minute drive away, and Oakvale Farm & Fauna World, 15 minutes away by car.
