Beds passed the test for comfort, and overall, guests thought that rooms were in good condition. They were also well-supplied, with Bunk and Family rooms having linens, a small shared fridge, kettle, fan and heater. But the Deluxe rooms really stole the show, with wood furniture, polished timber floors and an LCD TV for some down time.
The laid back owners were readily available with a smile and lots of suggestions about what to see in the area. Guests said that they also seemed to have thought of everything, and management made body boards, DVDs and board games available to guests, as well as bikes for hire.
Guests loved the natural surroundings, and said that it wasn't uncommon to see daily wildlife visitors. It really felt like being in the jungle here, and guests thought that it was a true Australian experience.
The good news is that there is a bus stop in front of this hotel, but the bad news is that buses only run at certain times. Guests also noted that there wasn't much to walk to in the neighbourhood, so public transportation or a car is necessary.
