Very nicely-maintained both inside and out, this locale offers all the quirks of a four hundred-year-old building aside cosy log fires and stunning downland views in the outdoor garden seating area. The beer is brewed locally and the wine selection is diverse. Food is served hot in plentiful portions in the lively bar or attractive dining room - or a separate private dining area upon advance request. The fish pie is a favourite. This spot gets pretty busy, so reservations are a good idea. Close to many attractions such as Goodwood House, Fontwell Park Racecourse and Goodwood Racecourse, you won't miss out on things to do during your stay!
