The Craibstone Suites are around a 10-minute drive from Aberdeen Beach and the University of Aberdeen, while the Exhibition & Conference Centre and Royal Aberdeen Golf Club are reachable in 20 minutes.
The Craibstone Suites offers an enviable central location, with the main shopping and dining of Aberdeen found close by, supermarkets, parking and the train station also within an easy walk, and a park within view for escaping into the green.
Guests found the well-decorated suites to offer good value for money due to the wealth of modern facilities, including a kitchen area to prepare your own meals, continental breakfast items supplied, and a generally quiet atmosphere despite the centrality.
Despite these being serviced apartments, rather than hotel accommodation, those who stayed were happy with the warm welcome extended by the polite and helpful staff.
While many were appreciative of the complimentary breakfast items left out, some were disappointed by what they saw as very simple and basic fare, with far too little bread.
Be aware there are no lifts and plenty of stairs to be found at The Craibstone Suites, so perhaps reconsider if you have mobility issues or a huge amount of luggage.
Some guests have found certain suites to be too cramped for their liking, with the slanted ceilings on the top suites difficult for those who are a bit taller, the table areas too small for some and the kitchens too much like kitchenettes for a few people
