Hotel The Beach Guesthouse (Loiza, Puerto Rico)

Beach Club Guest House is situated on the ocean which means there are spectacular sea views with colorful sunrises and sunsets. This view is enjoyed from most rooms, from the relaxing boardwalk that's located nearby or from the private beach located in front of the hotel.

Guests reported that the area around the hotel feels safe and the locals are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in the middle of a neighborhood that's full of character and culture and is perfect for couples or families seeking a relaxing holiday.

There are a number of facilities located around the hotel and they're all well-maintained and easily accessible. Guests reported that the swimming pool is clean, warm and well-lit at night, the parking area is secure and the grounds are well-maintained with sitting areas that have plenty of chairs.

Some guests reported that the service at The Beach Club Guest House is lacking due to unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Upon arrival, there's no one there to greet guests and there is a long wait for someone to show up, it takes a long time and several calls to reception to have issues fixed, a number of staff members can't speak English which makes communication difficult and housekeeping staff rush guests into leaving rooms before actual check-out time.

Due to the hotel being under a major flight path, the sound of airplanes taking off, landing and flying overhead is clearly heard every few minutes. Guests also reported noise from hotel maintenance being done early in the morning, loud music, dogs barking and heavy traffic on the street.

The rooms at this hotel are quite small with dated decor and furnishings. Also reported was sinks that don't drain properly, a lack of places to sit and lots of dust.
