Hotel The Ambassador Inn & Suites (South Yarmouth, USA)

This hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool which is unheard of in other two-star places. You get a lot of value for your dollar at this hotel where guests are also impressed by the sauna and hot tub.

You're just a short drive from the beach and the golf course while there are so many dining options nearby that you'll never eat the same thing twice. You can even head out for the night and just walk home after a few drinks.

The games room is a great addition to this hotel and should keep your kids busy for more than a few hours. You'll also find that the indoor pool is clean and safe and another great way to use up a lot of energy for the young ones.

If you're not too light on your feet then perhaps you want to ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator to the upper floors. This is quite annoying for some guests especially as the staff do not assist with bags.

This hotel could do with a bit of renovation work to bring it into this century. It still looks like something from the eighties and the housekeeping staff don't do a great job of keeping it clean. Some guests found stains in their rooms while others found the public areas a little messy.

Whether it's through lack of use or mold, there is a very distinct smell of damp throughout the hotel. It makes guests feel that the place is dirty and doesn't make for the warmest of welcomes.
