Dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds are also available. Some accommodations face the ocean. Amenities include a games room, secure equipment storage and a wetsuit drying facility. Parking and Wi-Fi are both free. Casual meals are served throughout the day and night in a laid-back restaurant and 24-hour bar. Surfers is five minutes’ walk from Newquay town centre and around a mile from the epic beach break at Fistral Beach. Watergate Bay, home of the annual Boardmasters surf festival, is a little over three miles away.

Numerous visitors have said they felt really relaxed and at home in the hotel's super-chilled and ever-so-social bar. The fact that you can get hot snacks like pizzas whenever you like and play games with staff 24/7 was greatly appreciated.
A great many visitors have reported very good things about the beds in the accommodations. Evidently, the memory foam toppers and soft pillows used here make for a very comfy night's rest.
A significant number of guests have noted that some parts of this hotel are in dire need of a refurb. Public toilets with broken windows and fatigued accommodations with shower curtains held up by copper wire are just a few of the issues that have been raised all too frequently.
The car parking here is rather casual, i.e. everyone just seems to leave their cars wherever they want. The management's strategy for dealing with this is to ask drivers to leave their keys at reception so that cars can be moved if/when someone gets blocked in. Unsurprisingly, very few visitors approved of this approach.
The vast majority of guests who stayed here were deeply unimpressed by the lack of TVs or even kettles in the rooms.
