As a last minute reservation this hotel is thought to be a reasonable deal, the street is busy but not as intrusive as to interrupt sleep. The staff was found to be both friendly and accommodating, and checking-in was carried out reasonably efficiently.

There were a number of things mentioned on the cleanliness and odor question: some too personal to mention, however items included dirty fridge seals, dirty toilets, old and dirty bathrooms and the impression that only spot cleaning is carried out. .

Starting with a comforter that felt like sand paper, and a missing iron, guests complained of a missing toilet seat, old and worn bedding, shower walls falling apart, and hard and squeaky beds that were very uncomfortable. Guests also found that there were not enough pillows, with the staff refusing to supply more, and blankets with had in them. It took some time to fix a non-functioning TV. .

The breakfast is criticized as being barely basic with dirty tasting coffee. Staff service was found to be inadequate at best and extremely rude at worst, and it was felt that the hotel is poorly and unprofessionally managed. It is apparent that this establishment is taking full advantage of a good location and not improving or fully maintaining the infrastructure as and when needed. .
