There have been complaints about the area of town where the Super 8 Hartford is located. It appears as though the hotel sits in an adult entertainment zone, so there are lots of unsavory people both around the hotel and staying in it.

Numerous guests have said that their rooms were not cleaned upon arrival, as they found dirt all over their rooms and items that had been left behind by previous guests.
