Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham La Crosse (La Crosse, USA)

Many of the rooms at Super 8 La Crosse have been updated as the hotel is now incorporated into the Wyndham Group. Rooms offer a bright and clean, contemporary look and feel. Housekeeping staff are also under new supervision and thus have improved the overall level of attention to rooms, with cleaner spaces and regular replenishment of room consumables including fresh towels daily.

The hotel staff ensure that all guest areas/public spaces are always clean and that the offered hotel features such as the indoor pool, hot tub and 24-hour gym are always clean and very well-maintained.

While onsite parking is not always in most traveler’s minds as a plus, it must be said that Super 8 La Crosse offers a clean and orderly onsite parking that has ample space for travelers pulling trailers or driving recreational vehicles, making it more convenient to park with ease. The parking lot is also well-lit at night and very safe.

Unfortunately the complimentary continental breakfast is somewhat limited in choices, particularly healthier choices. Most items are processed items such as sweet pastries which may not appeal to more health conscious travelers.

Rooms are not well-insulated against outside noises and guests have often complained of being disturbed by noises from adjacent rooms or rooms above. Some rooms also seem to be more susceptible to noises from the parking lot and roadway.

The room air conditioners for cooling and heating rooms can often be a bit tricky or temperamental, producing cool or warm air for short periods at a time. Some guests have also noted that room air conditioner units tend to run a little on the noisy side.
