Even guests who were not impressed with other aspects of their stay at the hotel were generally very happy with the level of customer service they found at the hotel, with staff friendly, courteous and patient.

Younger guests are particularly impressed with the hotel pool and water park, plus the mini golf and other activities nearby the keep them amused for an entire holiday.

With its proximity to the water this is an excellent base for young families to enjoy a fun beach holiday, or for grown-ups to take in the river views. The local restaurants also provide plenty of options and guests have been pleased with the choice on offer.

Most guests have been happy with their accommodation, but a small number have reported being disappointed with what they felt was a dated hotel that needed some refreshing. Some cited cobwebs and mold in the bedrooms and bathrooms, with others saying that the carpets, bedding and exterior of the hotel would benefit with being replaced.

Some guests said they have problems sleeping or felt their peace was disturbed by conversation and noise coming from other rooms and the corridors due to what they felt were the thin walls. Others said that loud fans and air-conditioning kept them awake during the night.

Although most guests were complimentary about the staff at the hotel, some did feel that more could be done to keep the hotel tidy, particularly picking up litter, vacuuming and general cleaning of the rooms.
