Reviewers generally liked the location off highway I-40 just ten minutes' drive from the center of Asheville. It was conveniently close to a gas station, amenities and roadside restaurants. Motorists also welcomed the free parking on-site.

Guests were often pleased with the spacious remodeled rooms with their fresh and modern feel. Features like the wood-effect flooring and flat-screen televisions with free cable channels were a hit with most visitors. A few critics, however, disliked the wobbly toilet seats in some bathrooms and occasional plumbing problems such as an unreliable hot water supply or blocked drains.

Thanks to the motel's competitive rates many reviewers felt they got decent value for money at this straightforward roadside lodging. Guests often commented that it was fine for a short stopover.
