Located in the northern coast of Corfu, Sidari, Greece, Summertime Aparthotel is a three-star aparthotel with 62 rooms. It is the ideal place for a good vacation for families with young children. Apartments are equipped with amenities like air conditioner, safety deposit box, satellite colour television and telephone. All units have a kitchenette with cooking rings, fridge, freezer and utensils. Balconies/terraces and electronic safety systems are a regular feature in all the apartments. Bathrooms have shower and toiletries. Guests love the river running through the property. The organic produce gardens help the guests to relax in a natural environment. All the sports facilities like full-size fresh water swimming pool, children’s pool, tennis, gym, sauna and indoor bowling are fully supervised. Wi-Fi and parking are not available. Meals are served at the onsite restaurant accompanied by entertainment programmes at night. Canal D’Amour, which has differently shaped sandstone coves, is located close to the Summertime Aparthotel.
Rooms are quite basic but have excellent maid service validated by the spotlessly clean rooms. Rooms are cleaned and towels are also changed every day. They are airy allowing circulation of cool air, with all the basic amenities required to make the stay fairly comfortable. Guests enjoy their morning and evening cup of tea sitting in the spacious balcony.
The best part about this place is that the adult guests can relax while their kids enjoy the various activities and that too in a secure environment. Kids loved spending their time at the kids' playground and mini-golf course. All the sport facilities including the children's pool is fully supervised. The staff is very accommodating and courteous. They went out of their way to help the guests and nothing seemed to be much of a trouble for them.
The food served at lunchtime was much appreciated for its taste and variety. It included pasta, Greek salad, chips, lots of meat and much more. The lamb chops are a must try as per many guests. Wine and lager beer were liked by the guests in the drinks section.
Many guests were bothered with wasps swarming around. They could not enjoy their drinks in the pool as the wasps kept hovering around the drinks. There were too many mosquitoes that bit the guests all night long.
Some of the guests felt that the hotel should have an arrangement for more sun beds as they were inadequate in number.
The Wi-Fi connection was being used by around 200 guests due to which it was very sluggish and patchy.
