Despite being quite close to the Golden State Highway, guests still reported that their rooms were relative havens of peace and quite. Many attributed this to the fact that it was situated adjacent to a graveyard.

Motorists generally appreciated being so close to the Golden State Highway. It made the hotel easy to find initially, and was also convenient for when they were travelling within the region.

Guests after guest mentioned in their review that their room was very clean when they checked in. The feeling seemed to be that housekeeping had done a terrific job.

This was an astonishingly common complaint. In fact, the complaint itself was astonishing. Many guests reported that there was nowhere to sit down and enjoy their breakfast once they had loaded their plate. It wasn’t simply that there was limited seating, but that there was no seating at all. Guests were amazed that they had to stand around it the lobby and elsewhere and eat their breakfast.

Guests were really not impressed with the part of town the hotel was situated in. They mentioned that I was very rough, with a very large homeless population, some of whom were said to be aggressive.

Guests described the staff as not very good. The main complaint seemed to be that they did not have the kind of enthusiasm and level of engagement that would have encouraged them to provide their guests with great service.
