Hotel Suisse is a three-storied hotel situated right on Lake Como. It is ten yards away from Bellagio, which is also known as the pearl of Lake Como. Rooms are decorated in a simple way and equipped with televisions. Some of the rooms give views of the lake. Suites feature a sauna and whirlpool tub. Kitchenettes have a microwave and refrigerator. Bathrooms are provided with shower and toiletries. Pets are allowed at no extra cost. Wi-Fi is complimentary but parking is not available. Many guests loved the location of the hotel. It is located right on the Lake Como, which is very unusual. It is right across the Ferry and the rooms give a beautiful view of the lake. Centrally located on the Bellagio promenade gave easy access to the shops, bars and restaurant close by. Some of the guests even felt that they could not have gotten a better place to stay on the entire Bellagio.
Good-sized rooms are spotlessly clean, and supplied with crisp linen and towels. The tabletop reed diffuser added to the mild and fresh fragrance lingering in the room. Bathrooms have a stand-up shower that was found to be very convenient by the guests. The shuttered windows with balconies gave a good view of the cobbled street.
The breakfast served here has plenty of choice and is prepared well. Guests who were gluten-intolerant could also find a good variety to choose from, which is very rare. Guests enjoyed having their breakfast sitting outside on a day with excellent weather.
Most of the guests travelling with lots of luggage felt that the hotel should have an elevator. Though the staff was courteous enough to help them with their baggage, having an elevator makes the job easier and less time consuming.
Some of the guests were disappointed on finding that the Wi-Fi connection was almost nil in the rooms. This made it very difficult for them to even check their emails.
The public parking at a location nearby was quite inconvenient for the guests as they had to wait for their turn to park the car.
