Guests loved the lovely surroundings of the hotel that was serene and peaceful, yet close to many places of interest. It was an experience of coming back into the laps of nature. Rooms were big and comfortable that gave the perfect view of the Lake Como from the windows.
All the guests found the staff to be well trained and highly professional who had practical knowledge of the local area. They went out of their way to address the smallest of the concerns of the guests. There was ample private parking area where all the guests could park their vehicles.
Breakfast had a good spread with many choices to choose from. The restaurant set in the terrace looks directly into the lake where the guests enjoyed the scenic views and their meals. Guests loved the lake fish specialities and regional dishes.
Few guests spent a lot of time trying to unlock their doors as the lock on the door was actually not used to unlock the door. There is a separate small black box in a dark place on the adjacent wall that needs to be turned in to unlock.
Lack of any tea/coffee making equipments in the room was a disappointment for many guests especially in the mornings. Guests felt that a fridge in the room too would have been great.
Some of the guests staying in the rooms by the road were disturbed by the traffic noise when they opened their windows.
