The village of Sellia at Vamos, is located next to a spectacular forest in the mountains of Western Crete. The forest, the village, and the surrounding area are a delight to explore on foot or by bicycle, while other attractions are only a short car trip away. Strofilia Villas is operational all year round. Visitors in the months of September and October are welcome to participate in the grape harvest and the production of wine and tsikoudia (raki), while those visiting in November and December can join in the olive harvest and making of olive oil. The Sapounakis family has lived in Sellia for centuries and are active in winemaking, traditional farming, and the production of cheese and olive oil and thyme honey.
