The rooms are so dirty and worn down that it's difficult to try to get to sleep here. There is garbage strewn about, stained linens, stained or non-existent towels, filthy carpeting and bathroom, and shoddy plumbing and water pressure. It is a total mess upon check-in, and apparently stays that way.
Staff also greatly disappoints, with either there being difficulty finding someone for assistance, or then them not being interested in doing their job. There's not much sense of customer service or a genuine desire to act as hotel staff and help guests with whatever is needed.
There's not a strong impression of safety measures here. Keys are used instead of key cards, so there's the fear and concern of anyone having the ability to enter a room. There's also quite a presence of suspicious guests, and the police appear often enough to create an uncomfortability as to how safe it is to sleep here.
