Cook your own meal in the premium kitchen or make use of the BBQ area on level 10. A short walk from the hotel guests will stumble across Melbourne's lane ways and restaurant precincts where guests will find tasty Italian, Japanese, Chinese and middle eastern feasts to try. The iconic Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex is less than a five minute walk from the hotel and Federation Square and downtown Melbourne are a 10 - 15 minute walk away.

Guests complained that parking at the hotel was difficult and a convoluted process, where access was granted only after accessing the unit, but with nowhere to park their car in the mean time. After hours access to the car park also proved difficult for some.
As Freshwater Place is a residential building there is no full time reception that will cater to guests requirements. Many guests were not prepared for the lack of reception which cause some confusion and check-in dramas. Guests also complained that if they had issues during their stay they were unsure about how to get help.
