The main strip was just five minutes' walk away and it was about three miles to the heart of downtown for attractions, live theater shows, dining and shopping. The proximity to Dollywood amusement park about six miles away was another bonus.

Some reviewers said that although they weren't pristine, the rooms were often functional as well as clean and comfortable enough for a short stay on a budget. There was praise for the way the rooms not only had the basics for sleeping and washing, but also contained microwaves and fridges as standard.
