The Hotel Silvio features just twenty-one rooms uniquely decorated and many with a view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Guest rooms and suites are all air conditioned with an LCD TV, free Wi-Fi and a safe. Suites are also provided with a mini fridge and the annex apartments also have a kitchen. Majority of the guest rooms are quite compact and this is felt most in the bathrooms which some guests have found to be difficult to manoeuvre for taller people, etc. The view does however do a lot for the atmosphere and for longer stays there are always the suites and apartments to consider.
Aside from most of the suites and the apartments which have their own kitchen, there are no minibars or fridges in the guest rooms which some prefer to keep their own light refreshments in.
Although the hotel is just fifteen minutes away on foot, it is quite a tough walk particularly the one back to the hotel up a slope and some level of fitness is required.
