Many said that the location was ideal for exploring Charlottetown as many of the attractions as well as the local bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of the inn.
Guests enjoyed the numerous antiques and nautical artefacts scattered throughout the premises as well as finding out about the building's rich historical past. Many said they felt like they were staying in museum yet were pleased to have all the necessary modern amenities which ensured a comfortable stay.

The air-conditioning units have been described as being rather noisy when switched on which prevented quite a few guests from using them at night as they said that the units interfered with sleep.
