Saxon Lodge has 8 very large en-suite rooms & suites, with private entrances, and mostly with private view verandas and great sea views. All the rooms are decorated to create a tranquil and restful ambiance – a “home from home” feeling. Most of the rooms have twin or king size beds, TV, tea and coffee and comfort amenities. We accommodate groups of up to 20 people. A private, well stocked residents’ bar provides privacy and exclusivity for guests to enjoy and share their experiences and space with each other. Dinner is available for groups on request. A plunge pool, beautiful garden, guest lounge, free WiFi, ample parking and a viewing deck with spectacular views ensure a comfortable no hassle stay. It is commonplace to see the Southern Right Whales frolicking in the bay during season (June to December) and the sunsets are spectacular over the bay! Gansbaai, "The Great White Shark Capital of the World" offers great adventure activities - diving with the Whites, Fat Bike adventures on the dunes, Mountain Biking in the mountains or for milder activities, land based whale watching, beautiful beaches, forests and fynbos walks.
