The peaceful suburb of De Kelders is well located, just two hours drive from Cape Town, half an hour from Hermanus, and 10 minutes from Gansbaai. The luxurious en-suite bedrooms have every comfort, satellite televisions and sea view patios. The guest lounge, all-weather conservatory and seafront deck have unbeatable ocean views; perfect for whale watching in season, and enjoying our spectacular sunsets over the sea. Our breakfasts are a treat, with both continental and hot breakfast choices, and are served on the sea view deck. Cliff Lodge is relaxed and informal with careful attention to detail and personal service. Enjoy a walk to the secluded beach, swim in the ocean and the sea front swimming pool or simply relax and enjoy watching the ever changing ocean of Walker Bay. This intimate lodge is surrounded by unspoiled nature and is the ideal place to unwind and relax. Whale watching is incredible in De Kelders from July to November when the Southern Right Whales come to Walker Bay to mate and give birth. Shark cage diving and viewing in nearby Gansbaai.
