Hotel Sandpiper Apartments (Broadbeach, Australia)

A number of people who stayed here raved about the view that they enjoyed from their balconies, with many people saying that their favourite part of their holiday was sitting on the balcony enjoying the view, with an afternoon beverage.

Guests were happy with the size of the apartments with many commenting that there was ample space for their party to move about comfortably. Guests also commented that the beds were extremely comfortable and that they got a great nights' sleep during their stay as a result.

The hotel is steps from the beach which is across one road, then down a beach track and the proximity to the beach was the main reason a number of visitors stayed here.  Guests also commented that there were a number of great local restaurants close by to choose from, which made their stay even better.

Guests left a number of tips for future visitors when booking this hotel including; making sure that an apartment with air conditioning is requested; that guests bring additional towels for the pool as they are not provided; that they get an apartment away from the noisy pool and slamming pool gate and that they sort out their Wi-Fi needs prior to arrival, as there is no free Wi-Fi at the hotel.

Guests commented that the common areas were showing signs of wear and tear and management would do well to invest in a little bit more maintenance or a complete upgrade of facilities. Common complaints included that paint was peeling off the walls and outdoor areas were grubby.

Guests who expected a better standard of furnishings during their holiday were disappointed with old, mismatched and shabby furniture in the apartments, with guest remarking that management could encourage the owners of the apartments to upgrade their furniture.
