Royal Chambers consists of self catering rooms in a popular and central area of Liverpool. Simply furnished rooms at Royal Chambers, include free Wi-Fi, towels, bed linen and coffee making facilities. Free bottled water, hairdryer, iron/board and desks are also available and bathroom facilities are shared with other guests. Wi-Fi extends to the main lobby and a colour TV is here too. Laundry facilities can be requested and rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. A minimal breakfast is offered. There are though, cafes nearby. Restaurants within walking distance include seven Seas Brasserie and the Persian, Zagros. The accommodation is half a mile from Liverpool’s Lime Street railway station and a 5 minute walk from Hope University.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is surprisingly well cleaned and maintained. Beds are comfortable. Even the shared bathroom arrangement seems to work very well and again, these areas are impressively clean.
It’s a fairly easy walk into the city centre … less than a 'royal' mile? … Plus, there’s a regular bus service; so this is a really good and convenient location.
They’ll help with, say, a later check out. A great plus sign, too, is the fact that you can wander in at any time of the day or night. There is a general lack of regimentation that is a welcome relief from the norm.
If you are expecting breakfast, the croissants and coffee will be a huge disappointment. If, on the other hand you expected a self catering stay … then your glass is half full!
It’s not too bad but certainly could do with a makeover. This seems to extend to the lack of thermostat control on the shower and no water supply to the sink in the bedroom.
The only nearby parking is at a commercially owned site; so parking the car could be nearly as expensive as your accommodation!
